No keys for ArmA 3?

So I have been researching and yes I know ArmA 3 is just in Alpha, but I do not see a key in the reg binary nor in the steam apps folder! Does this mean no key stealers for ArmA 3?!

Still do have keys, didn't check through Steam but I guess they are pretty confident about it considering they let me get a refund after 2 days purchase.

I have contacted BattlEye about some stuff and they've confirmed that Arma III will NOT be using any kind of keys related to the major stealing incidents from Arma II. I deleted the mail but that's what they said.

I wonder how they will distinguish GUIDs though? You know? I mean without CD keys pirating will be EXTREMELY easy...

You clearly know nothing about ArmA.


That is a key for content to be able to be used on a server. In that case, it is the core content. Mods use keys so they can be hosted on a server.

Not like my life is ruined by not knowing something about a game. In general I know nothing about programming, I find it hard to learn and I'm fine with that. So yeah maybe I should have mentioned that on the initial post
