because as far as i know sweden completely depends on fuel being imported and because sweden government taxes it like crazy .

No. He's right. Obama intentionally rose prices of gas to push for renewable fuel. Remember the Chevy Volt? lololololol....That ended up being a failure. He's also stopped drilling by a large amount. And this isn't speculation or anything.

In belgium ( where i live , and i assume that sweden has a somewhat simular system ) they tax up to 50-60% of the price you pay at the gas station , so yeah the government has something to do with it . they can lower the taxes on fuel so it would the gas price would stay somewhat stable for the users . but they don't do that because they want the money . (higher gas price = more taxes for the government)

I didn't say the wanted money. I said that they (US government at least) want people to stop using fossil fuels.
