It's not that hard to find another dupe exploit after that. We will cross that bridge once we get there.

I understand the fact that the item stays, but had no actual "dupe" success.

LucidGames has got it to work, and I suggested an easier way to do it (not confirmed). Not sure if my method will work, but it sounds like it could. You just need to have an extra character slot.

And Lucid already reported him for flaming.

Well the account in use error applies to all characters, this I know from experience.
So you can't have another character swing by and pick it up.

I'll try the original idea out again, and see if I get any results.

Well, I guess that makes sense.

Maybe have the second character trying to connect, and once the other guy leaves (must time leave error connection correct), then the other character comes by and grabs it. Then he disconnects.

That actually sounds like a very plausible idea. Heres what I found when trying it, relevant or not:

The character that is attempting to connect, the one that will pickup the item, has a timer that resets to 140 seconds when it hits ~90 consistently.

When the character that drops the item black screens, it resets the timer (account in use timer) for both.

All the servers are pretty empty so theres not enough lag to truly test it.

hm, but the thing is that the sb only last 60 secs.

so with the "account in use" thing its most likley not possible to get back in time before the lifespan of 60 secs is over ? or did i miss sth here ?

Yeah, thats why I am doubtful of this working.

Well, if you have good internet, you can be back in less then 60 seconds, and as Sax said, use two characters.

Did you even read the main post?
This has nothing to do with pirate cave key's, and the method will probably get patched once SB is gone, since other people can pick up your items.

I'm sorry if I misread or something, but just to confirm this process:
1. Drop item ON guild hall, mash key
2. Arrive at guild hall, hopefully with item still in inventory
3. Travel to Nexus, hopefully with item still on guild hall

And repeat? :3
