Ping Got messed up (Connection or Computer)

Why do people always think that their internet speed has anything to do with their computer . /facepalm

let me give you a talking bud, My computer increases its ping when i have a program running in the background, amazing as it seems, but if I have McAfee virus scanner on while i play cf, i have a 200 ping, with it off, its like 20 to 30

wow thanks for the heads up, I didn't think that having my virus scanner on would delay my game.

By the way, it still isn't from your computer, the virus scanner may be connected to the internet for web protection. Every program that pulls out resources from your internet, will make you increase your ping, and most likely every program reduces your FPS because your CPU/GPU will be handling more processes than crossfire.

Maybe some server Problem or your internet is been used by someone else. (wifi)
