War has never always been about religion, yes some people used religion as a source of power but some wars were never really about it..
Take for example WWII
You would say it was about religion, because it was hitler killing the jews am i correct?
but thats only half of the story
Hitler wanted the aryan race to be the only race in the world, so some wars are about race or a people, for example
the genocides in africa are between a group of people and not religion
or the armenians and turks
or romanians and maldovans.
See there are a lot of wars that don't have to do with religion
only wars currently about religion is the war on terror
and this is because the middle east thinks it is because of a passage in the Q'uran
but we don't so it depends where you look at it,
I would admit thought that the wars from the way past had to do about religion, like the crusades and stuff, but some of them were for territory also.
