I'm not a Muslim, and i don't know the answer, but if i took a guess.....

i will try to answer it my bestest, so if i get it wrong dont go all mad on me =/
first of all i know that taliban arent really a true muslim, but they are a muslim obvoiusly, when they are about to face american soldier they preach "allahuakbar" means allah is the greatest in upcoming combat or ambush.
but one thing i know about taliban soldiers, their leader is always thinking about jihad.
and jihad means die in honour or something, so thats why they have these suicide bomber or the one that happends in 9/11 because they think that americans are bothering them. but i think americans kinda bother a bit but they also help in cold war.
and alkaeeda have more muslim faith than taliban even know there are less few member in alkaeeeda than in taliban.
i know a thing that when you drink your not really yourself and you can damage yourself even tho you dont even know what your doing like suicide bomber. so its possible that the talibans and the aklaeeda drinks but i think those are the athiest innocent people from afghanistan who was forces to join the taliban forces
