I'm a fan of Jellybean, however when Ubuntu mobile goes live, I'm going to check that shit out. Supposedly a true OS for a phone.

I'm kind of afraid to root my GS3. Doesn't the warranty get voided if you root it?

SuperNexus at the moment. I'm working on my own ROM but this is completely new to me, which is why I want the damn UBUNTU MOBILE TO HURRY THE FUCK UP so I can use the source code to develop my own android mobile OS from a scratch kernel.

Rooting voids manufacturer warranty. If you have an extended warranty through a third party, any physical damage is still covered.

Yeah but there are two things: 1. Its pretty much impossible to fuck up your phone now days by rooting and custom ROM'ing it unless you can't follow simple instructions and 2. You can use a method that doesn't trip the flash counter on the phone so incase something does happen you can go back to stock and no one would be able to tell otherwise.

I ended up trying MIUI which I was a big fan when I had my first Android phone back few years ago. I tried many other ROMs about 2 weeks ago non of them where that great and all bugged out and had issues with the WiFi so I ended up flashing back stock rom with odin and rooted. Can you link me to JellyBam?

BAM Android They have releases for a few different types of phones so if you don't have a GS3 then you may still be able to get it.
