Agreed I do not believe this is the RE from Infistar V8 but one of the previous versions. It uses the waypoint method which is detected. This RE got released already by another memeber.

this is not the RE from V8, completely different. the RE in V8 has chewstar in it, this is a old RE.

You're quite incorrect. They have a copyright and can sue anybody who claims their work as their own, distributes it without proper permission, or sells it for money without proper permission.

Unless the author releases these scripts (which are their own creation, regardless of the API they hook into, what programs use them, or what servers they connect to) under something along the lines of the GNU General Public License, which states that anyone is permitted to copy, modify, or distribute the author's creation as long as they do not claim rights over it.

I don't believe infiSTAR released his scripts under the GNU General Public License, or any license that states you are permitted to carry out the above actions, and you are therefore legally restricted from doing so.

I mean it's not like I give a shit, I'm just saying you're wrong. Technically it is stealing, and it is illegal even if it's not stealing in the eyes of the law.

Assuming he didn't release it under a license at all, he could sue anybody here that releases his work or decrypts his files because nobody has proper permission to do so, and that is called copyright infringement. Which is illegal.
