Numpad for hacks. plz help

There hacks that are released that require me to use the numberpad to activate them. well the problem is that my laptop was not made with a number pad or a Numlock key. does anyone know how to use number pad keys for this situation? (and pressing the 'fn' key and pressing F keys dont work)

Buy a numpad for USB or try normal numbers.

Most laptops don't have 'em cuz it would make the laptop less portable.

try using the on-screen keyboard some of them do have number pad keys.
