    Chemistry

    I have a question about chemistry.
    3 NaHCO3 + C6H8O7 = C6H5Na3O7 + 3 CO2 + 3 H2O

    Considering this, the amount of CO2 in moles should be equal to the amount of NaHCO3, am I correct?

    Because we were doing an experiment and with calculating, I've got about 2,5-times less CO2 than NaHCO3, which would mean that my measurements were incorrect, right?

    It's 16 in both. The equotation is balanced, I just wonder about the amounts, because I'm pretty sure that
    n(NaHCO3)=n(CO2)

    Nono you got it wrong.

    3 NaHCO3 + C6H8O7 = C6H5Na3O7 + 3 CO2 + 3 H2O

    CNah390 + 9419A = 8DA8D1 + 8==D

    13.

    Yes the answer is 13. Move along people!

    No. The amount of moles of any given molecule is directly correlating to the number of grams in a substance. 3NaHCO3 is 23 NA, 1 H, 12 C, 16 * 3 O, all multiplied by 3. So that is 252. 3CO2 is (12+32)*2 which is 88. One Mole of NAHCO3 is 84. One Mole of CO2 is 44.
