How do I set my background image on my profile?
Do I need a certain rank?

I don't think you can set an image, but you surely can change the color if that's what you meant. You just go to your profile and click the "Customize My Profile" button on the top right, right above the message box.

But you can set an image.

I figured it out. Go do what I said, but at "Page Background" put a link to the image you wish to have as your background.
