When I was in highschool I had an option, Prom, or something better.

Prom: No tobacco products, no alcohol, no Ganja, no cars allowed to be brought, no after-prom party (had to go straight home), no grinding, no kissing girlfriend, no loud yelling, no streamers or whatnot, the music was all lil' wayne/drake/nicki minaj.

So, about twenty of us guys got together, put our cash together, bought six ounces of ganja, ten handles of vodka, five handles of jack, three kegs, and over a thousand bucks worth of food. About halfway through the night our buddies from the town over came up with some Acid and MDMA, and we ended up having a mini-rave. When the bitches who went to the prom saw the pictures of our night THEY WERE SO PISSED. Fucking worth it.

yea i knew a few guys who saved their money from prom instead of going they threw a really fun party on prom night went to casinos and shit and then the next day they left for ibiza for about a week... most of the senior bitches who knew them were pretty jealous
