how do you record a vid?

I want to post a vid of some vip hacks, but well i mean is i can't convert the .wmm file

There are plenty of screen recorders out there
Some examples:
Camtasia (Heavy)
Snagit (light, also a screenshot recorder)
Hypercam (Light, but sucks like shit)
Fraps (never used it)

I would suggest ZD soft screen recorder......google it, download it, and try it out.

Fraps is the best recorder for games because it is especially made for recording just the game. Hypercam is also pretty good but it lag your computer a bit

Haven't used any but do you need a webcam of some sort?
Like for example,
WebCam and Hypercam to make a video?

I use Camtasia Studio 6 which is awesome it puts the videos in HD by itself

I find Fraps good to use in games, to record all your screen, plus the game with HD, use CamStudio, Fraps is not free, CamStudio is free; GameCam and Hypercam are flawless good programs but they are not free.
