Now if only someone told that to the Saudi court that killed a woman who was gangraped.
It is not for me to decide whether a religion is true or false, whether a person's own beliefs are valid. To do so would be immoral and wrong.
The truth behind religion written in books such as the Bible, the Dharma, the Quran, etc. is that they are not so much for you to believe in a higher being that is greater than you, to debate that would be foolish since you can not understand something such as a God in the first place. The purpose is that it is a moral code for people to live by, a way for people to discipline themselves and to keep the world full of decent people. For the past 2000 years people have lived by these moral codes written in these books of Religion and they have kept people to do good for themselves and others, they have taught them right from wrong, and it seriously concerns me when not only have most people derailed from believing and following in these codes, but have begun to harshly judge others for following them and staying on the right path.

What? People need a book to teach them morality because they are unable to think of it by themselves? That tells me one thing: They're stupid.
Fear is the best way to control people so i believe a kings or some kind of leader figured out that when people are told that the words come from a deity of some kind people think that it must be true.
The leader could create there own deity for what they believed and people would be to afraid to go against it.
So at one point someone most likely had the morals you have and passed them along but it very easily could have been completely different depending on what the creator of the fictional deity believed.
Now we live in a society dictated by scientific fact and with the knowledge we posses we know there cant be a deity of any kind, more and more people are realizing this as time passes.
Religion could have been necessary to develop the world we live in now by creating the morals people still believe in, who knows what we would think if there was no religion that passed down right and wrong, we could have ended up like animals who don't care for social protocols and fuck whomever they please or we could have ended up less violent with morals against all violence, there's really no what to tell but the fact is people still believe in morels given by religion even if they no longer believe in "god".
A country cannot be a country without king a universe cannot be there without god.
actually large bodies of people don't necessarily need a type of monarchy its just when there's somebody in charge things tend to stay under control whereas having no leader would be a hectic mess, the universe is in fact hectic with matter smashing into other matter, even our galaxy is on a collision course with another galaxy you'd think if there was a god he would have made things neater right?
Are you sure??? Where I live there is no king and the one who made me was my mom.... where is your god?? hide and playing with hello kitty?
