I remember this skinnyfat ****** who made a progress thread here. Did it for like 5 months. Threads ended up being huge, but it turns out that the workout did jack shit for him. Nothing that an all-pro workout couldn't do better. He only saw minor difference attributed to a dietary change and some to the workout.

When I workout, it burns during it. But afterwards, it doesn't burn. And I think to myself, holy shit. Why isn't it hurting? I'm already trying more than I can do usually.

I love seeing when people think they're going to get ripped or drop fat working out and fuck up on the diet. Then fuck up on the workout. Then they usually just take it easy and say it didn't work. I'm eating 1600 calories a day and 1200 of that is from protein. Then I have my fats, and carbs. Double carb days along with cutting the carbs by 50% after that for a week, etc. I'm never hungry though, which is fucking fantastic.

Most people thinks its just about cutting out out whole food groups. Its all about the proper ratio, the proper amount of intake. You need carbs, you need fats. Its not about quitting sugar and thinking thats the only change needed. Shit, some of the best bodybuilder in history eat candy and ice creams regularly. Its about upping the intake in the right foods with the right amount carbs/fats/fibres/whatever. Its about gaining not just sacrificing.

@HuxJr , you think Insanity is hard? Just wait till you move onto Asylum . I was on the verge crying the first day I did Vertical Plyo...so hard . I did Max Interval Plyo the other day with a friend and that shit was a joke. All in good time though
Thanks god someone understands this. I eat very conservatively. Ezekiel toast in the morning with almond butter and an egg with five egg whites. Protein shake two hours later. A quarter cup of cashews and seven whole walnuts. Two hours later 5 ounces of organic chicken breast, two hours after that a cup of organic string beans and two ounces of tilapia (small fish contain less mercury). Two hours after that a cup of cilantro mixed with a large salad and another quarter cup of cashews with another protein shake. At night three fish oil supplements with a multivitamin. On workout days I eat the same as above with 5 ounces of tilapia instead of 2, a quarter cup of brown rice with the chicken and fish, and 10 egg whites instead of 5. If I snack it's pistachio's only. Eight week program to gain a crap load of muscle and burn a crap load of fat. The cardio I do is ridiculous, I do suicides the size of a football field, take 5 minute rest, do the same but 5 yards less, 5 minute break, etc until I can't do it anymore. I am expecting to be able to finish the entire regiment at the end of the eight weeks. I should drop my body fat percentage from 20% to 16%, and add about 15-20 pounds of muscle mass overall. Crazy regiment for the workouts.

This post literally made me lol...I can't stand when people when say they're putting on 20 pounds of muscle in a matter of weeks. I'd say that 95% percent of that weight is just fat and water. You'd be lucky to gain that amount of muscle in a year if you were just starting out and had really really really good genetics
