Help with my mic

Hey guys, I just got a mic about two months ago and it has been working fine untill the other day when it magicly stoped working. I went over to my friend's house and tried it there and it worked fine there. I pulled out an old mic that I had laying around that had worked fine for me earlier and tried it and it did not work either. I know the problem is not my sound card because my speakers are pluged into the sound card and they work fine. It is a problem with windows and I was wondering if anyone could help.

Hmmm i had same problem, go to your sond setting try reinstallng it? hmmm go to sound setting and connect it. left click on sound and click show disabled devises
