Depends on the contract you're given. They contacted me on apart of my participation within their community and me playing with their team for a long time. They recently kicked one of your AD players so that's the position I'd fill and I'd be more than happy to do it.
Though, if I don't get paid, it'd be a joy to be apart of it. I'd participate in tournaments, go out of state, and just be with a group of competitive players. The only thing we've really talked about is the sponsorship and what my hours would have to be when it comes to practice and being online.

looks like most people don't get paid. The top teams, such as ROOT, the players get paid to stream for SMITE. (stream on Twitch.tv). That's about all the money you're actually paid. All other money they gain is usually from donations and merely just paid to fly out for tournaments.
A few months ago there was a 10k invitational tournament. Good shit there. It was at PAX if any of you know what that is.
