If you NEED the money because of something they did to your car (not covered by car insurance) then yes, only if the amount justifies it (more than 5000 I`d say)

Otherwise, no. Judical resources in the USA is being tied up absurdly by fat overweight uselss people exploiting the fuck out of eachother to get a quick buck.
