Actually the case is, that you dont't have to.
There is a currency called Astral Diamonds, which you can gain by selling stuff at the Auction house, or doing daily mission.. or other ways. And there is an official exchange system, where you can exchange Astral Diamonds to Zen and back.
So if you want to look good: play some, get Astral Diamonds, get into the trading business(a friend of mine got 3,000,000 AD in 3 weeks with trading alot the Auction house) and then buy Zen. And buy your fancy Fashion items.

OT: Neverwinter was a good game, but gets boring. No end game, and it's like every other game that's ever been made. Yeah, it was good for a free to play, but fuck, it didn't last. Got to level 60 on a few characters and then dropped that shit like my ex girlfriend.

I don't see any problems in MC section...

And you've probably been playing alone. Playing with a guild which has TS or anything to speak to each other at, or playing with friends maintains the fun level.
Also there is end-game, called epic dungeons and the new 20v20 PvP(lvl 60 only) map is also a great addition to the end-game content.
Last but not least, if you get bored, you can just hop to The Foundry and make your own maps/quests.
