Hmm. Well I'm no english major, but I'll try to explain how to detect tone in writing.

You see, when you said that you meant "inactive" you added a sentence which did not need to be placed, you added

"Not like you've never made a mistake"

That there is a...hmm...don't know the word for it, but it means you were trying to point out their faults, trying to redirect the attention from your fault to their faults. This tactic is used by many irrational children try to anger the accuser of original fault. As an experienced troll it's pretty easy to detect those kind of things. I mean trust me. Just trust me on this one there was anger in that one, or at least slightly ticked off. You can deny it all you want, but the facts are here.
