So Fucking Sad.

The dog that I've had for 13 years is on the verge of death. He's been diagnosed with cancer, and even though I already knew this... Hearing it from a vet made me realize how little time he has left.

Not only did I grow up with this dog, but he's been through so much. Now this might seem stupid to some, but this dog was my world. I spent hours nightly playing ball. Going for walks, and taking him places. No matter where I am, he's right by my side. Always laying down by my chair, or on my bed waiting for me to go to sleep.

I know this doesn't mean a lot to any of you, just thought I'd let you know.

It's always sad when you lose someone that means something to you.
And it's horrible for some time, but we do learn to move on. But the memories are still with us

I can understand you. I have my cat now for 12 years and he is like a friend. Waiting at the door when I come home from school and sleeping in my bed.

Losing a companion is always tough, just gotta learn to get by. Only mine was female and human, and we loved each other for sometime, how it ended, I still don't know. My world is gone too.
