Well, first of all Megaman > Bomberman. There's much better candidates for new characters too, like Chrono from Chrono Trigger from example.

Second of all, his face looks fine. I actually like they way they drew him here more.

Too bad there is no way Square Enix would ever give Nintendo the rights to use it.

Bomberman is much more realistic because Hudson and Nintendo are way better friends than Square Enix.
