    My game has been saying "Waiting for character to create" suddenly after I tried to respawn. Any help will be appreciated.

    Yep, you could just wait, but after 5 min it's probably never going to load. Try a Dayz restart if that doesn't work try another server.

    This used to happen on certain servers. Maybe your version is outdated or it has been modified other than the original? A good reinstall of whatever software you are using to run Dayz (Dayzcommander, Sixlauncher, etc) or reinstallation of Arma II Combined Operations would help.
