You can also try looking on Craigslist. For that type of money I got me a computer a year ago that was as good as a computer that costed a grand. Video card was two years outdated (5770) but the processor (i5 2400) is still future proof! Ram was 8gigs, but the harddrive was only 250gb. Bought it brand new with three years warranty, it was a guy who bought it from Dell for like $900 dollars but resold it for $500.
