Your argument is pretty much contradictory to what you're stating.
I say Armalite and Colt make true AR's, and other Companies make variants.

Also, don't even say I know nothing about guns. I've been shooting since I was 5, own about 25 firearms, and have probably spent 50k cartridges in my lifetime.
You guys are basically attacking me over a personal preference of what I consider to be a real AR, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with gun knowledge.

I shoot competitively have been hunting since I was 6, the amount of fire arms you own has nothing to do with experience.
