Can you intentionally lucid dream?

When I was younger I always had dreams and I remember this one time where I was in my old house and I could move around but at the same time it felt like I was forced to move that way. I don't even know what that was lol.

It is possible to intentionally Lucid Dream but you would need a lot of practise and patience ..

From personal experience, the more sleep you get the higher chance of lucid dreaming.

For some reason, if I get less than 6 hours of sleep I don't recall any of my dreams. 8+ I will pretty much always dream vividly, and sometimes it will be lucid.

I had two lol.. Besides, If it's scary you just choose to wake up :| That's the hole point of a lucid dream :P

I don't think you were experiencing a lucid dream in that case :| I had complete awareness of what I wanted to do and the slightest thought about waking up almost did woke me up :P On the other hand, I've had nightmares that continues even after I woke up.. Those were driving me crazy lol.. It's like seeing everything normally but with a light "overlay" of complete bollocks made by my own mind
