So I was recently perusing youtube when I came across a story of a 3 year old boy who was born deaf.
His hearing was then fully restored thanks to brand new audial technology.
Enter the ignorant Christians:

science, not religion. the doctors, not god.

God did everything. End of story.

I understand you're a religious person, but, how the hell did God make this technology? The doctors and scientists were the ones who've made it work for this little boy.
TheSR28
God is the one who put the doctors and scientists on this earth and gave them the intelligence to know what to do. That's how God did it. Go ahead and praise the doctors and scientists, but they are not going to be the ones who save you from Hell if you keep going against God and saying man did everything.

So if god is the cause for everything, would he not be responsible for the boy being deaf in the first place? I love how you Christians state that god is all powerful, yet then cherry pick what he's responsible for. Which usually encompasses all the positive things in the world, yet you never hold him responsible for all the atrocities that occur.
TheSR28
Because of the sin of the first man. Since He disobeyed God, he put us all at risk of going to Hell. Everybody sins. It's all God's plan. You will see on judgement day.

"It's all God's plan"
>Makes people sin.
>Punishes them for it.
>God is an asshole.
craftingcolors69
It is so that they learn from their mistakes.
Aborted
If it's all "God's plan" it wouldn't be their mistakes, it would be his.
Do you not see the blatant contradictions within this doctrine?
craftingcolors69
Life is learning from you mistakes, and taking action. Not just sitting around. Do you get what I am trying to say now?
Aborted
No, not at all as it is entirely illogical.
So what we have is:
>God makes us sin.
>God punishes us for that sin.
How would being punished for an action that is beyond your control
actually teach you anything. Learning from mistakes would entail that there is an actual active repercussion, such as prison-time. In the case of sin and punishment, there is no such thing, therefore it accomplishes nothing. Would it not be more logical for God to simply instill perfect morality in us all?
Person agrees with me and asks how the Christians will respond.
Aborted
They'll usually respond with some contrived excerpt from the Bible about sin and how he allows some things to occur due to "Adam and Eve". Though the statement in itself is entirely contradictory to the Christian doctrine that all events occur in correlation with "God's plan". This would entail that god was the active driving force behind the Holocaust and such similar tragedies, which almost all but nullifies the long-held belief that he is some divine being of benevolence.
