Been working on a ConVar spoofer for garry's mod, module hiding included.

Bypass wasn't made by me, I've just been working on getting it to actually work on GMod, so far it's bypassing right but I cannot get in game (or even join a server) without crashing, it's probably because it calls lua_State and lua_State crashes after 1 call. Oh well. I might release this, maybe not, depends on whether I get it working and the feedback I receive, you can even add your own ConVars/ConCommands to bypass if I can get it to work.

It's pretty cool actually, the only problem is that people that are incompetent won't be able to use it because it actually requires a bit of understanding and reading to get working.

Not if you stay up till 12PM and wake up at 7PM.

Oh, and the module doesn't unload from the menu like it should if the Lua script you're trying to load has a loop in it (which opens you up to bans.)

Basically, when you load the module it loads, spoofs convars, then unloads itself from the game (all in the menu!) which means if you fail to make a working Lua script the module will keep looping through that Lua script and never exit.

Good news, it injects right now, turns out the loader was fucked and loading wrong, issue resolved.

No, it is not detected at all, it spoofs the cvars garry searches for.

It also only runs in the menu, so GAC would never pick it up.

EDIT: Seems to crash when trying to play Multiplayer, I'll hook a debugger later and look at it.

If you release this can't garry just blacklist it? he has been on the forum so he will just wait for a new bypass which isn't detected then blacklist it.

If he blacklists it all I have to do is add a few things and then re-compile and re-release.
