You should be able to buy it now, I just bought something just fine so you shouldn't have any problems anymore. Arma II plus the Combined Operations DLC is on sale for $16.74. With both of those you can play the DayZ Mod for free. Although, that is only 33% OFF and I am willing to wait for it to be maybe 50%-60% OFF because I really want to buy it at the cheapest I can get it. If it doesn't get cheaper by the last day, I will be forced to buy it on the last day for that 33% OFF price.

So I FINALLLLLLLY got enough moni to buy Arma 2 :!!:
but when I tried to buy it via steam, stupid steam gives me dis error : "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

Is it just me or steam is fucked up right now? take in account that this is my first attempt to buy anything from steam
