Replacing old shop files to buy perm guns? PLEASE EXPLAIN.

I don't play ava but im just curious how this works.
so you replace shop files with older files from older versions of the game to buy guns that aren't able to be obtained (i.e. limited edition, seasonal) as permanent.

Then you switch the files back and you just get it away with it that easily and the weapons stay on your account forever?
explain please.

Here's how it worked. You switched the files form back then tricking the game into thinking it has the perm weapons shop. So when you bought it you actually got it. Aeria patched this and when you buy it it probrably links to somewhere and sends a red flag up. So your game disconnects and you can't buy it.

That used to be the case but it doesn't work anymore
