The next Black Plague (or pandemic)?

So as our Earth gets more populated, Mother Nature at some point, will do something to fuck up our lives a little bit. Because, it is a fact that during overpopulation, mother nature will come in and create something like a disease in order to 'reduce' the population down to where it should be (or at a low point so that we can rebuild), or she can just wipe us all out.

So do you think there will be the next Black Plague soon? Or maybe the government has control of a viral disease they plan to release when areas become overpopulated?

There's a bunch of questions you can answers and ask.

What kind of disease will it be? Airborne? Contact with other people?

How will the government respond? Containment? Wipe out infected areas?

How will the people respond? Mass chaos? Rioting? Killing?

I apparently heard a rumor that scientists calculated that it's impossible for a zombie outbreak to occur in the USA due to the high ownage gun rate per person. Also our military is pretty quick to contain areas, anyone able to confirm this? @IRenegade

1. Probably spread from animals.
2. I think the government will probably wipe out the infected areas, or if they're large areas.. Keep 'em on lock down.
3. Probably mass chaos, I don't see what rioting will achieve.
4. I'm not quite sure, I'd like to see a zombie infection though.

Sure I guess, with modern day views I guess it's just more of a disease view from most people since Natural disasters can't wipe out most people at one time (unless it's a 2012 thing).

Not exactly we haven't found treatments for every disease out there. If a more serious issue of cancer were to spread in different forms then what are we supposed to do?
