So for those of you who remember, I found a film SLR from the 80's on a shelf in a closet in my house. I decided to try it out. Got some 400 ASA film, turns out the camera is pretty old, and therefore, fairly dysfunctional. There were four photos out of the 40 or so I took that came out decent (the rest were too dark to be recognizable despite perfect metering in direct sunlight), and here they are.
I had fun with this. It's a shame the camera doesn't function like it used to. I'll be buying a 650D soon anyways, so I'm not totally put off by it.
Enjoy.

Even if a lot of the pictures didn't turn out well, the ones that did look pretty damn good. Hard to believe such an old camera can take such nice pictures. :P

like the depth of focus of the 4th one and for the second one i really like the simplicity of it

You're all too kind.
nice work, amazing pictures for an old camera o.o
I really like the first one, the composition of the light and the light softly radiating off it . Also I have a 650D, but since I started Art at school I have access to 50+ lenses 60D and a 7D. On top of that there are some old film Pentax's not sure what model. I also got to experience photograms and got to test the schools dark room out.

Is it okay if I take the first picture and set it as my desktop background? Anyways great picture + that camera being from the 80's is doing good.
@Ryan these are really great photo's! I am actually kinda jealous of your camera.. it can take better pictures than my two digital cameras! haha. Also, I think you are a really good photographer. I am really into photography, I have taken 2 classes of photography in school.. and I love it. Macro is probably my favorite style of photography.
