No, It wouldn't, Because if your an Atheist and believe that god doesn't exist then there is going to be no Hell and no Heaven and nothing to worry about after your death, so you don't really care, therefore, having a religion as a Plan B would sound like a good idea, I mean what is the purpose of all of that religion and praying ? the final goal is to get to Heaven, right?

But If god didn't exist ( Which I really don't believe in) then you shouldn't be worried about Hell or Heaven, on the other hand, if god really exist and so do Hell and Heaven, you should get a religion as a backup plan LOL

Having a religion is way better from being atheist... at least you believe god exist.
Not saying your plan B must be Islam, but choose something that is more likely fits you.

Well, God gave you lot of things and there must be a way to thank him back.
and that way is by praying to him, and I believe the prayer must be done just as the prophets told us to.

Why people follow religion I can see, why they believe that you "owe god" or that you need to do other things people tell you do in a religion, is simply because people are naturally followers.

Why must people "earn" heaven? Why wouldn't god just give everyone heaven anyways? Its surely within his power, and a moral choice system based on "god" is completely idiotic.

Except there are many sets of rules, each saying the other set of rules is false. Why should I believe one or the other, why should I follow any of them at all if there is no real-world consequence?


There are a ton of religious rules in every religion that conflict with basic ethics.

And the results of the test is; if you pass it, the outcome will be beyond imagination or anything you have ever thought of. :/
and if you don't pass it, your screwed.

Life is just a blink of an eye compared to the afterlife or the Heaven and Hell days.
Maybe it sound harsh for you, but God sent all of his messengers and prophets and all of the evidences and reasons of why you should pray to him, but at the end you didn't even do any of that or even believe in him, and you just ignored him.
and its fair enough that he ignores you back in the day of Judgement.
