Has Islam ruined the Middle East Countries?

OK we have the war against Israel.We have Sunni v Shia.We have Syria sectarian violence and now Egypt we have the Muslim brotherhood trying to be the only voice of Islam.We have had so many wars in the Middle East over Islam we have the Taliban Hamas Hezbollah Al Quada elements.
If mods feel this should be in the religious section fine.Or we could discuss the political Islam side of things and if Islam has been a cancer in the Middle East.
We have Namus honour killings and women not being allowed to drive and gays being killed and blasphemy laws.Keeping the place backward.




Men are better than women?:


“(Women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in kindness, and men are a degree above them.” Sura 2:228


Men can have many wives:


“Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four.” Sura 4:3


Women are worth half a man:


“To the male the equivalent of the portion of two females, and if there be women more than two, then theirs is two-thirds of the inheritance, and if there be one (only) then the half.” Sura 4:11


“Unto the male is the equivalent of the share of two females.” Sura 4:176


Women’s sexuality is wrong and needs to be suppressed:


“As for those of your women who are guilty of lewdness, call to witness four of you against them. And if they testify (to the truth of the allegation) then confine them to the houses until death take them.” Sura 4:15


Selling a wife is perfectly ok:


“And if ye wish to exchange one wife for another and ye have given unto one of them a sum of money (however great), take nothing from it.” Sura 40:20


Recently a teenager got thrown of a roof by muslimbrothers by not supprting them.

Men is the first created human , in the same time women have more rights in another things If you read the Qur'an fully , not mentioning one verses.

I don't see anything in it , If there is a money from there father , he will take a certain money due to the equivalent , why ? The male who need to marry , he is the one who pay everything in his family (wives and sons) , and he is the one who buy the house , fair enough , right?
