    Dell Inspiron help. (Please help)

So I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I was using it about a half hour ago. It ended up over heating and turned off. When I went to turn it on, the dell logo screen loaded as usual, but after it finishes, the screen immediately turns black. I have no idea how to fix this. I've googled, nothing seemed to help. I don't think anything has failed within 5 minutes of it being off.

It's most likely still hot. Put it on a hard surface (wood table or similar) and wait about an hour or two. If you still have issues you most likely fried your peripherals.

It is no longer hot, but I will definitely let it sit for some time and come back with results.

EDIT: I did what you said, but the screen is still black. @Lehsyrus

Then it seems to me that either the peripherals are shot, or the hard drive is having issues. I'm out of options at the moment. Might want to ask Dell's forums.

Your graphics card is most likely toast.

    Contact Dell.
