    Warning: AVG!

Please, notes: AVG users using IE8 or another set of 'resident shield' will disable the AVG Resident Shield on your AV, you'll be force to redownload and set it up all over again.

However, I heard it is being outdated and troublesome, so I am switching and trying Advast.

This is a warning for those who are using AVG and can't seems to find/disable it.

    This a warning.

Notes:If you can read this: You suck. :3

Because a lot of hackers uses AVG/Norton it's commonly found that the Resident Shield/Exception list will be removed.

LOL, nortorn 360 is like this:

I just downloaded a few Hacks:

Nortorn: These files are suspicious, shall i delete?

    Me: Allow plox.

Me: Turn on silent mode for 6 hrs.

    Nortorn: These files are suspicious.

    Me: STFU

    Over and over....

    Avast:

I just downloaded a hack thru chrome:

Avast: A virus has been detected and shit.

    Me: Do no action.

    Avast: Threat removed

    Me: Redownloads file

    Avast: Threat removed.

On Avast what you need to do is very simple.

You should see a small A and a small I.

On the A ball, you right click and click on "Off On-Access Protection"

On the I Ball, disable VB Generator, it'll leave the hack alone.

    As the task bar. :/

Resident shield is annoying anyway. I want to decide if it is a virus or not, not AVG. Now I use Nod32. I highly recommend AVG free 8.5 it is the best freeware AV around excluding the Windows antivirus.

AVG Free 8.5 removes the Resident Shield, so it's useless to try and use hacks.

What are you talking about. AVG is fine. Maybe the problem is with the free version. I'm using the one you have to pay for. I think that's AVG total internet protection. Anyway, nothing wrong with it. It's actually the best I've used. And Kapersky sucks.

    1. Don't double post.

    2. We're talking about AVG Free, not Pro. Sense most of us can't fork over cash for AVG on a monthly free, yeah.
