1. At least one full PS3 game must be stored on the PS3's internal HDD before proceeding.
2. Plug in a USB (formatted to FAT32) to your PS3 on the right-most port (the other ports do NOT work for this)
3. Run multiman from XMB
4. Press Select + Start once in multiman (to access file manager)
5. Double-click on PS3 Root then dev_hdd0 then GAMES then "your stored game" (e.g.BLES/BLUS/BCES/12345) then PS3_DISC.SFB
6. Press SELECT once
7. Press START once
8. Select No, Select No, select Yes ("Do you want to export FLASH memory to a file?")
9. Wait until it completes. Exit (circle), unplug USB and copy the DUMP to your computer somewhere very safe.
Done!This file will allow you to fix your PS3 in case you ever brick it.
