Why are you guys arguing, I know it's a hedgehog.
It's called an igelkott in Swedish, and that translates to hedgehog.

Today when I was going to my education of which I do not like I came upon a confused little creature that appeared to not feel to well, it took a few steps and fell over and it overall didn't look too good. So I approached it and I noticed that it didn't feel to well, so I decided, fuck school and picked it up, I have to mention, I found it right by an intersection that had a lot of traffic, if I didn't pick it up it would surely have tumbled into the road and gotten itself killed.

I started looking about in the near vicinity if I could find someone that knew if there was a vet somewhere in the near vicinity, I asked so many people and literally nobody did, which sucks for me as I've only lived here for about a year and I don't have a clue where I could find one.
After a while I got lucky and found someone who knew a place and he gave me directions to it. So I started walking there with it in my hands in the scorching sun, something was obviously wrong. It didn't even have the energy to try and get out, it fainted in my hands.

After a while of walking I got to the vet, where I immediately was denied service, apparently, they don't take care of that type of animal, and that's just fucking bogus. They could've at least have mentioned someone who did or help me with it, but no.

Luckily there was a girl there with one of her animals that actually knew of someone who took care of those poor things and she helped me with a number I could call, turns out, it was for another part of Sweden, so they couldn't come help it. They did however refer me to another agency that did do the same thing, so I called them and after a while they managed to get someone to come pick it up, but I had to wait and this little thing needed to get some energy or it would surely die.

So, I followed this girl home to her place, conveniently placed right next to the vet where she had a shaded place and all that which the little thing needed.

I fed it some honey water for it to get some energy and some raw egg for protein.
And after a little while it came back to its conscious mind and seemed a little bit more alert, not afraid though. It seemed rather happy.
So I kept feeding it and making sure it got some water and all that - a while later the agency came and picked it up to treat it until it got back on its feet and then let it out in a suitable environment.

The little thing was about 5 - 6 weeks old, female.
Dehydrated, starving about to get itself run over.
(It wasn't bigger than my hand)

I can't believe nobody else had even tried to help it before that point.
So instead of going to school, I tended and saved this near death and adorable animal.

This is the cute little thing.

And you can't take care of a pidgeon?

That was more about not feeling like shipping a pigeon back to you via planes and what not, that is pricier than the alternative.

I guess you could, wouldn't recommend it, these animals are normally ridden with fleas and tics.
Besides, doubt that there'll be that much to eat on it.

I actually never saw a hedgehog before. Do you plan on keeping it or is someone going to come and pick it up?

I'm sure there's a daycare somewhere in your near vicinity.

Bro. You don't even know how much effort is involved in eating a baby. You end up burning more calories than you gain. Tender flesh is pain the in the ass to prepare, and people whine when I consume their young.

I believe that there isn't much flesh on a hedgehog, it might be like eating a rat.

If a hedgehog is anything like a rat, and rat is anything like a squirrel, than it will taste like chicken, with hints of a more earthy diet, nutty in case of the squirrel. Pot pie that bitch and it shall be glorious.

Then I know what to do the next time I see a squirrel.
