On topic, Try learning batch. It will give you a very solid start. After you feel like you are being limited by the language it self, Move on to python and you either stay with python or move on to C# and C++ but at that point you are already a programmer.

for web based stuff: PhP HTML Jquery Javascript
other stuff: C++, C#,Java,Python
