My girlfriend is indian...she says she hates India because the poverty is so strong there...there is no middle class, only rich or poor people...and when its raining she can't even go out in her garden because the chance getting bitten by a venomous spider or snake is too damn high...

how old she is ? In india the gap between rich and poor is huge but she is wrong about NO MIDDLE CLASS, Indian maximum population is belongs to Middle class & about snakes and other creatures, they are only present in hill station/hill states and villages near forest, may be she belongs from there.

Not really, only in some poor class sections of society, maybe in some very deindustrialized villages.
