What's the best free antivirus ?

I need a very good antivirus that isn't very harsh on my pc. I'll leave my specs here. Also the AV needs to be free.

PC SPECS:

Processor: Intel Core i3 M370 @2GHz
RAM: 4gb

Best paid one I ever used is Bit Defender.

Then I would stick with Avast or you could try cracking Bit defender all up to you.

Yea... Avast seems to be the best free one. It pales in comparison to paid anti virus greats like ESET, Kaspersky and BitDefender... So if you're willing to buy it, then go for it.

Microsoft Security Essentials , that's the best free one in my opinion

Avast is good enough. Having that plus scanning with Malwarebytes every now and then or when thing's don't seem right helps too. With a little common sense and those 2, you should be fine.

COMODO Internet Security Premium has too many features as paid products and its FREE!
