Ok new "rule" here.(let us all abide by this)
If you have an argument about a translation, you have to provide a source stating it means something different in the correct language.(english).
Example of why this is needed:
Person [A]: The quran says this.(provides english translation)
Person [B]: The quran does not say that.
Person [A]: Ok please provide another translation(in english) that states differently
Person [B]: Provides original text in arabic stating it means something different.
[At this point the argument Person B is making is that his translation is the correct one]
-Which runs into our problem, Player B has no credentials, no authority on the subject matter, and may not even know arabic for all we know-
So this is all boils down to this:
Whether we accept Islam as religion we believe in or not. We should all accept the translations done by Islamic scholars. If there is any difference in translation, you are free to post it, but lets not argue translation done by people here as correct or not, that is pointless.

How "Kill everyone who opposes you, decapitate them, and cut off their limbs and fingers" can be misconstrued is beyond me.
You were seeking strength, justice, splendour.
You were seeking love.
Here is the pit, here is your pit.
