    Master Yi

    I did a game with 2 friends. Got a penta, try and figure out why ap yi works. *hint* Masteries play a key factor.

    AD and AP Yi is still strong as fuck.

    Easy to snowball.

    He got most of the farm, I took little since I had most of the kills.

    To this day, no one knows why this build is deadly.

    Manamune becomes a Muramana, and that active applies 200~ damage to your basic attacks as bonus. Nashor's Tooth adds about 80~ damage when full build. If you have the "Spellblade" mastery, you deal 5% of your AP on basic attacks which can add up to 50~ if full build. Adding a hextech gunblade in there gives you a fair amount of AD and AP with Spellvamp and Lifesteal allowing you to replenish between your basic attacks and Q's and with that unique active, you can keep using it as the CD goes down if you basic attack or damage an enemy champion with abilities. Blade of the ruined king works well because you have a sweet active, but you can also deal an additional 50~ damage onto your basic attacks. Not having my full build, a lich bane can increase your first basic attack to deal maybe a bonus 200-300~ damage. Add all those together onto one basic attack and you could deal up to almost 1k-2k~ without even critical strikes. You'll have about 300~ AD + 400~ AP if built right, and dealing nearly 1k damage for just the first basic attack, if the target is a tank you can keep slashing away at them and dealing nearly 700~ damage per basic attack without the lich bane proc.

    Are you running ap or ad masteries?

    29/0/1, strictly AP masteries as AD masteries would render useless because you benefit enough from the 3 AD items.
    Runes go as far as MS quints, Magic pent marks, armor seals, and ap glyphs.

    I'm having a hard time explaining this build to a diamond player on another forum so I made her try and figure it out on her own. "HOLY AP RATIOS" when all she showed me was a picture of his skill set from the wiki.

    In my opinion, if Alpha Strike is able to crit...Imma take that into account and build some crit and since Wuju Style gives 10% more AD...I think I'll build more ad than ap.

    Hybrid Yi is still superior to full on AD yi.
