Hey guys, I was reading some other posts and I was wondering, are there more WoW supporters or haters? Well, now we can find out !

Personally, I myself loved WoW, but I quit because it was taking WAY too much out of my time. So vote and lets see, more haters or supporters?

Honestly WoW isn't really all that great. They just expanded so quickly and added too many things to do, so the players felt that had to complete those things otherwise they'd feel unaccomplished.

Same goes for RuneScape.

First half is true.
Too many expansions too fast, each getting worse and worse, following the lore less and less, and more and more decisions that lead to some of the dumbest things that shouldn't be in the game at all.
It is undeniably a great game, look at how many players it has. Although I would have to say I don't like the direction they're going at all.
And it seems too obviously how lazy Blizzard has gotten. Gear, for instance, all they do anymore is make a single skin for each item type(plate, mail, leather, cloth) and recolor it too many times to count. Also, they're beginning to re-use INSTANCES. As if gear wasn't bad enough. The new lack of originality if becoming monotonous.
And you always hear people say 'Pre-BC was the best' or some version of that. It becomes aparent that WoW just seems to be getting worse each expansion.
None of this is easy for me to say, I have been playing it for a very long time and know it all too well.
Those are my current problems with WoW.
Don't think I hate it, I don't one bit but thought I'd share since I may be the only true WoW player around these forums.
I know 85% of people on this forums are either jealous of its popularity, or just say they hate it because the majority of people do, or actually hate it for a reason and share that reason.
I can't imagine any other game that could have captured my attention for the past few years and still keep me playing, and paying.
It's a YES for me.

anyway, wow has one big problem. It lacks skill. This is a huge problem with almost every rpg out there. That is my main problem with it. You rly have to admit that it takes almost no skill. If you have the best gear, you win basically. This is the main reason i play shooters, instant distinction on who has more skill(same goes for some fighters). The game is geared towards spending more time on it to be "better", when it should be on who has more skill.
on the expansions: yeah they are basically bullshit. They just add new maps(easy task for blizzard) and raise the level cap(gear also). This basically leaves the game to be never-ending, as a good rpg should. But the thing is, its all geared towards time. ppl who play WoW basically spend their time doing repetitive quest to gain items. This is fine for a rpg, but what happens when you get all the items(after 10k+ hours)? they make another expansion with even MORE items.
It can still require skill to play a certain class or a certain spec for a class.
Only way to show that skill is through Arena, even then I guess you have teammates and it is possible to carry someone, so all in all you're right on both points. Some classes are a great deal easier than others.
Only one class/spec that undoubtedly requires skill to play at all is an Arms Warrior. Death knights, Ret. Pallies and Arcane Mages are way too easy and way too good.
I also totally agree with the FPS thing. Very obvious.
