Need some ideas to make this look better

I'm designing a new e-commerce site for a new customer and i've done a logo for his business. I need some ideas on how to get this looking bettter. It needs to be static and solid for links, but need it to look a little better. Any ideas?

i dont know how to edit and make this kind of stuff however from a regular persons point of view its pretty good 6/10 the problem is it looks very very dull... idk if its just that picture but the symbols and lettering look like its from a newspaper from 2008 that's just my opinion, you just need to upgrade the lettering and symbol but keep everything else.. if you dont understand what i mean look at the ads for mpgh the 3 ads that say ragecry they stand out and look like 2013ish

In my opinion it's quite good, but the second picture of the person (flipped horizontally) makes the logo look a bit weird. I'm not sure how, but maybe you should look into something a bit different for that letter O.

I like the drop shadow effect you used on it but with red as a background color I personally wouldn't have used gray to be the primary color but thats depending on the background of the site you're going to be using it with. Other than that nice and simple exactly how a header/logo should be and I like the minor details and replacements you used very creative

The site is very plain and has a grey and white background, and will concentrate on the products and offers in the main sections. Thanks for the comments.
