Games keep freezing Fps drop (APB/Arma3..etc)

Hey,
I get freeze/fps drop in any game i try to play, i dont know where issue come from.
this is my specs :
Sapphire HD 6950 oc 6970 2go
i5 3570k 3.40ghz not OC
8gb corsair vengeance
OS windows 8 Pro 64bits
Azrock z77 extreme 4
PSu: Cooler master GX550w
Cpu cooler : Corsair A70
HDD 500GB

is DirectX installed/ up to date? only thing that i can think other than the fact that you might be playing on too high of settings for those specs... always a possibility.

6950 OC-ed to match performance of 6970 maybe.

Make sure your drivers are all updated, close other unneeded background processes, etc. Maybe your computer isn't meant for Ultra.
