Centering your render is generally a bad idea.
Spend more time on your smudging. It's a bit lazily done. You can get some cool effects when you mix shadows and highlights into your outward smudges.

I'd love to see the difference of it, along with "lazily smudging" done .

I've just always tried to center my render so one side isn't too empty, and I agree.

I hurried the smudging, and didn't like how it turned out.

Will take another stab at it in a bit.
