--PART 1--
Get the mod and download it.
Check to see if the mod needs a mod loader, audio mod, or forge. it should say somewhere in the post.
Have all the contents on your desktop somewhere (you don't have too but helps)
Get an app in the Mac Appstore called "The Unarchiver"
--PART 2--
Find your minecraft; goto finder, press command-shift-G. then type in "~/Library/Application Support/" then you will see a minecraft folder. a tip for finding it faster, is dragging the library folder to the finder side bar as well as the minecraft folder.
go to your bin the minercaft folder
right click it, and open with "the unarchiver"
and rename your minecraft.jar to something else and remove the .jar from it.
and rename the folder you got to "minecraft.jar"
--PART 3--
First refer to the instructions that the mod came with. and see which way to mod it.
there are two ways to mod minecraft:
by modding the JAR
OR
MINECRAFT>MODS.
for the jar:
open it along with the mod and add all the class files in the jar.
but remember to add mod loader first.
for the mods folder:
just simply add the marked folder to it.
Run Minecraft! There you go! Leave a thanks if this helped!
