Get the refund.
Guys I have a bit of a situation.
So I've sold my Motherbaord to a guy and have gotten full payment on it as you know. That motherboard supports only CrossifreX, not SLI. The buyer is now wanting a refund as the item "didn't match the description" because I had opened the box. The question is, should I give him the refund, get the Motherboard abd Crossfire the 290x or, not give him one, get a new G45, get the 780 and SLI that. Giving him a refund would save more money but and the 290x has the same level of performance as the 780 AND it costs less. The problem is that I really want to get an Nvidia card instead of ATI or AMD or whatever. So, what do?
Get the refund.
there's nothing left for you here.
Does he have the right to ask for a refund? did you say it was unopened? and then open it? if it didn't match the description refund it.
fair enough, sometimes they just got the wrong thing and wanna bitch and ask for a refund, i sold something on ebay and the guy contacts me 5-6 months later saying its not working. like wtf? why would i give you a refund after 5-6 months lol
aside from which card you want, if the item wasn't EXACTLY like you described it then you need to refund him. if not, it is your choice.
if you ask me, you have a right not to refund it, If you really didn't use it, then he shouldn't get a refund, if you did use it or test it to make sure it works, then you did kinda use it meaning he has the right to ask for a refund and its better to refund it.
