Best Unknown Artist?

I'm doing a research for my class, Is there any good song artist that is not really known to the outside world. I mean like, one that barely has his name in the music industry. I would prefer raggae song writers. I need one that will be interesting to write about. Help me out doods.

Depends how unknown you want, but Ziggy Marley has received surprisingly little recognition especially considering he is Bob Marleys son and makes some good music, with a great message.

I don't know about unknown but woodkid is somewhat unknown and only gained popularity because one of his songs was in the assassin's creed video for revelations.


The Servant is my favorite band though they were pretty popular in UK when they were still making songs but almost unknown in US.
